About this deal

While this was amended on the cover illustration for the sequel, Say Cheese and Die — Again!, early concept art also featured a female skeleton on that cover as well. It is possible that this is meant to be Terry, but Tim was unaware that Terry was male in the story.

Isaiah heads down into the basement and discovers an old polaroid camera that he tests out by taking two pictures, one of Allison and one of Margot. But the pictures don’t develop until a more opportune moment in the plot. He manages to take the ball and make a run for it, pushing through the opponent’s defence. He makes it halfway through but ends up having a bad fall and fracturing his arm. The medical team arrives and carries him to the hospital. Isaiah notices the two photographs taken from the camera in which Margot is in distress. Later in the hallway, Margot sees a strange boy standing. She begins to choke while the students walk out of the classrooms. Isaiah rushes in and gives Margot a shot from her bag. They resume the preparations and everyone arrives before the party starts going. At the party, Lucas tries to hit on Margot. Isaiah gets told off by Allison for being friends with Margot. Right after that, Margot informs Isaiah and takes his leave because she finds it insulting that he didn’t tell Allison about her. Coincidentally, Ryan Gosling also appeared in an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark entitled "The Tale of Station 109.1" which was also directed by Ron Oliver. That night, Greg has a nightmare where he takes a photo of his family during a barbecue, but the picture shows them as living skeletons. Shari continues to be skeptical of the alleged camera's "powers" and asks Greg to take it to her birthday. Initially, he refuses, but he eventually takes the camera to the party. During the party, Greg takes a photo of Shari, but the pictures doesn't show her. Soon after, Shari disappears mysteriously without a trace.

Focusing on the mysterious figure, she doesn’t notice that her choice of candy from the machine is supernaturally changed, as a different bar falls out of the machine. Not looking at what she got, Margot takes a bite, and immediately begins to have an allergic reaction to the candy she didn’t realize she was eating. The Sadler siblings Jerry and Terri try to solve the mystery of the ghostly resident living in a mountain cave near the beach. R. L. Stine began his writing career when he was nine years old, and today he has achieved the position of the bestselling children's author in history. In the early 1990s, Stine was catapulted to fame when he wrote the unprecedented, bestselling Goosebumps® series, which sold more than 250 million copies and became a worldwide multimedia phenomenon. His other major series, Fear Street, has over 80 million copies sold. In seventh grade when I started to read, I didn't know exactly what to read or what interested me so every day at the end of the school day I would take the stairs (no elevator because it's a school obviously) to the fourth floor and head to our school library which mostly contained of Arabic books. I would go to the English section and the only books I would find were old, dusty, and duct-taped Goosebumps books. Later that day, Isaiah walks in on his parents quarrelling about whether they can rely on Isaiah’s potential to get the scholarship. He sits grumpily and Margot comes to cheer him up. He requests her to help him with answers for the test to which she reluctantly agrees. What renders Spidey such a bizarre character in this narrative is the fact that Stine wrote an entity that glimmers along the water’s edge like a ray while simultaneously floating as a crocodile’s body under the surface. Though Spidey is revealed to be a man who used to be a famed scientist, one that is self-proclaimed as being “very evil”, the actions performed by this man teeter on severely dangerous—whereas they are, perhaps, meant to simply be a bit freaky. Should Spidey not have broken into Greg’s room & gone through all his personal belongings in an act that proves to be at once predatory & insane, I might have felt differently. However, the raving delusions of this adult escalate to a scene where he is chasing two (2) of the children down the street & then has them cornered in the basement of the house telling them that they will never be able to leave. He has Amber move the location of the party to the Biddle house, the house from the prologue, that’s been sitting empty for 30 years. He convinces Margot to let him copy her answers to get the needed grade on the test. Later, after the arm is plastered, he questions his father about the recovery time. Fortunately, he had won the game, but recovery will take 8 months, causing him to miss the scholarship window. His dad assures him that he will find a way to pay the tuition fees.
